Make Money Online in Year of Golden Tiger

14 February 2010 One Comment

February 14, 2010 is the first day of the Chinese new year – Year of Golden Tiger. It’s absolutely a perfect time to publish my first post for richhe.com. I would like to take this opportunity to share my experience of how I make money online – what did I learn, and how I plan to progress.

You might wonder, since there are many sites about make money online already, why bother to launch another one? Well, my purpose is not to compete with fellow internet marketers in an over-saturated niche, it’s rather a chronicle of my  journey to achieve a full-time passive income online, a hit or miss record.

Make money online tools and resources I used:

Domain Name Registration: Namecheap

Host: Hostgator Baby Plan (Unlimited Domain Hosting Only $9.95 a Month)

Keywords Tool: Micro Niche Finder Keyword Software

Monetization Methods: Google Adsense, Amazon Associates, Clickbank, Commission Junction, LinkShare, Chitika. (Ebay will be added to the list)

My Goals:

Here are my two primary Internet Marketing goals for the Year of Golden Tiger,

1. Make 3k a month (equals $100 per day)

2. Build 6 flagship sites (at least 108 posts per site)

My Plan:

The six flagship sites are divided into two sets, and each set includes three sites. I will try my best to update daily on the first set of sites, which means writing 3 posts per day. If I kept my promise, by the end of May the first set of three sites should meet my minimum requirements for flagship site. Until then I will switch to the next set, while update the first set on a weekly basis.

Good content is only part of the equation of building a successful online business. The  more important factor is to build backlinks. My backlink strategy is still not very clear, but I plan to build 3 backlinks per day for each of my flagship site. I might have another post to discuss vary backlink strategies.

Enough talk. Buckle up and let’s make money online!
